Just finished Ep. 8 and I gotta say you guys really went all out on this one. This may not be as serious as the other episodes but I think that was the point. All the light-hearted, funny, lewd, tender, thrilling, and heartwarming moments really made the night an unforgettable one for both the characters and me.
I can confidently say this is now the best visual novel I've played in terms of storytelling, animation, and the music choices as well. Each main character and even the supporting cast is really unique and draws you in the world. I can't wait for my next return to Riverside. The wait was absolutely WORTH IT. I can't wait to see what you guys will cook in the next update.
Here's hoping all the crazy censorship won't explode as we do so. I'm rooting for you guys. See you all in the next update!

I am just started a new game with Ripples and must say that the hair hickydoothingy on Jessicas head look like helicopter blades. Will she take off at some point and if yes where? Just make sure she avoid the electric power lines. Even that would be hilarious seeing her getting zapped and maybe a big black dil.. will fall out of her arse.

Waited for episode 8. Old saves broke. Decided to replay again. Got to episode 3 and felt sad. Managed to forget that dialogue choices are not the strong point of this game. They do not really affect the story, they only close access to scenes from the gallery. Rolling back progress hours is not cool. Not fun. I'll wait for mods, I guess.

The writing and pacing on this really can't be found elsewhere. Choices are so well implemented and allow whatever events story to happen in a way that feels unobtrusive in gameplay - rarely do I get the desire for replay in AVNs like I do this one, and adds a lot the whole package. Just overall a great execution of a fantastic project. Kudos!

Love this game, following for 2yrs now. So worth it! The story is great captivating and makes you feel invested in the outcome. (trying not to give spoilers to those that haven't played) for them i say I wholly recommend giving it a try.. god i miss the 90s

I don't leave comments on itch ever, but I've played a number of NSFW games on Itch, and I just have to share how much I love this game.
The way these girls are written is such a breath of fresh air. I won't name names, but there's so many harem games out there that boast a variety of girls, but all/most of the girls end up being some variation of inexperienced virgin that you get to deflower. But the girls in Ripples are so much more interesting. They're experienced and have different kinks and fetishes, and the scenes really feel like an exploration of sex and romance rather than a high schooler's fantasy of what sex is like.
It also helps that the story is genuinely interesting as well. I like that we're shown different situations that are grounded and realistic while still having that sci-fi flair in the background. It makes it so that when the scenes do come around, they're exiciting. I know this game (as well as basically every other harem game out there) is obviously unrealistic in its depiction of real relationships, but sometimes I come across a scene and think to myself "wow, this reminds me of a fun time I've had" or "I can really imagine something like this happening".
Overall, awesome game. Great work on episode 8, and excited to see where it goes from here. Keep up the great work, Jestur!

First, Jestur, you're likely the best creator out here. Your animation skills are unrivaled, your humor hits hard, and you've got the sexiest cast of characters this side of Vengerberg.
That said, I wasn't a huge fan of Episode 8. Without giving spoilers, I think you lost the story a bit and gave us a bunch of scenes that felt like a flex. You were really building something with the story in the last couple of episodes, and it felt like that was an afterthought here.
Anyway, just one person's opinion. You are amazing. I will of course be here for Episode 9.
I feel like what you're saying is the point of this episode? This episode is a break from what happened in ep 7. if you were looking for major story stuff, then yeah I can see why you were dissappointed since the episode only took place in one night. A lot of stuff happened that night but, can't be said about the progress of the story.

Amazing game. A little tips for ep8, can use the wiggle dance in Sexy And I Know It MV, which was not exist in 1999, quite fit in such party.
