Overview:
Ripples is a sci-fi visual novel that centers around a guy named Jack. He reunites with his good friend Darci and sets off to school like any other day, but as the day goes on, he learns new information about his deceased father that has him questioning the truth about his death. Reminder: This visual novel is still in development, and there is still much more story to come, and what I consider the best parts. Hi,
there seems to be a typo in a variable name - it checks for "necklackSc" instead of "necklaceSc", which is not defined. manually adding that boolean makes the correct text appear about having given Scarlett the necklace, fails otherwise. HTH, in ep7 I think, when going back with Darci.

Yes we should be getting a update either late March or April for sure. More will come just be patient ^_^

Dialog font size is way too small on my Android tablet, especially the bottom menu, is there a way to increase this, can't find anything in settings

Do each of the episode downloads include the previous chapters or do they each have to be downloaded separately?
All previous chapters will be included. But I would wait until episode 9 to download the whole game

It's a yearly update bro. There's like a hundred more games you can play while waiting for it. You can't rush things with this quality.
Hey just curious i followed a walkthrough and for some reason I can't get the second Alyssa scene to watch anime any bugs or ways to fix it, should I start a new game, it says I need minimum 7 affection, I have 14 and I can't get the scene to play every time I reload the save
What kind of Game Play is there??? Are there a lot of Choices or Mini-Games or is it mostly just click along???
It has choices, and a pretty good story, give it a try I think it's worth it

I'm not the biggest fan of Play-Wait-Play-Wait-Play-Wait...
I like picking up a game and playing it and then moving onto the next... I'm not a big Cliffhanger fan...
That's not to say I haven't, there are a hand full that I play, Twist Thoughts is the most recent, but there are others...
But I definitely prefer a game I can just pick up and play through...
The game wont be finished for quite some time I believe.
Based on what we have seen and how much we know, there will be at least 2-3 more episodes, IF the developer rushes the story. Otherswise probably more like 5 I think. (speculations)
I don't think the game will be done in near future, since his storytelling is very good. Therfore "rushing the story" is not expected.
If you dislike waiting for new episodes, I would recommend you to not play it yet. I will probably take some more years to finish the game. But I also recommend saving this page or game, so you won't miss out in future. This game is one of my favourites and I would recommend playing it 10/10 times.

I'll undoubtedly give it a play just to make sure I like it...
The problem with games taking so long is that technology improves so then you have the developer going back and practically remaking the game to improve graphics and make it compatible with new engines, etc...
But no, I don't want good stories rushed, I understand it takes time... I'm relatively new to this Play-Wait-Play-Wait cycle... But yeah the ones I've played have me waiting for the next installment... Twisted Thoughts is one of my favorites thus far...
Yeah I have quite the list I've been waiting on Ripples is just one of them, I just finished the current episode of eternium and now waiting on the next, there's also (that new teacher) (cosy cafe) (companions of darkness) and I can keep going, but they all have great stories that I usually read in-between episodes of one another.
Amazing game high S-tier for sure. Loved the animation character design and most of all very unique plot. Erotic scenes were very good - high quality and they came in at perfect pacing - not too quickly not too slowly. Game also seems complicated enough to make a mistake and lose someones path by accident. Generally speaking 10/10. Waiting for next update definitely will play further.
Should be ready in March for sure and yes I am SO hyped for future content!
Could you make the install option compatible with the Itch.io app? No hurries neither know how to do it though

So i had to make an account just to write a comment about this game.
First thank you to the creators, the care and thoughtfulness put forth into the dialogue and story line was truly amazing. I could not stop playing it every free moment I had.
Yes the NSFW scenes were exceptionally done and rendered and though they were a super turn on, I never once...you know..mi was just so engrossed in the story, but without those NSFW moments, the player would not truly be able to become invested in thr emotions of the characters.
If you have played this, do it now, so worth it.
One thing to note, I didn't know there were secret intractable items in the game and did not get a single one of the hidden renders :(
Lastly, I hope you co tinue the story as episode 8 had me so entertained l, happy, sad and the ending made me yearn for more of the story.

Ripples - n/c - 9/10 - well fuck me! this game has been under the radar for me far too long.
though it has been recommended to me more than once, twice (like seventeen times) it took me a while to actually sit down and read it!
the animations are stellar and the story is so heartfelt it hurts.
characters will subvert your expectations but almost always in positive ways.
i fell in love with the story and its characters, its world, and even the music(even if it is Ai).
I'm beyond excited to see how Jestur continues their story, and you'dbetter believe I'll be keeping tabs on it.

I love the game, but when i downloaded the .zip for mac, unpacked and opened:
Error -5 while decompressing data: incomplete or truncated stream

I had to download from mega with chrome, so there seems to be a problem unpacking with firefox/safari, now it works

I've got an issue and seem like I can't play the game anymore (I(m not the only one).
Only with this game so far (I've tried other games), when I start it, it soon makes my PC completely sluggish and like I'm moving through mud. None of my memories/processes are over 30%, graphics card is at 0 or 1%, processor 10 to 20, RAM 20%, I've got space on my drive and it is slow AF.
I've tried to duplicate the game files on another drive and it changes nothing. I've tried deleting the game and then re-unziping it and problem! My saves are still in ! So I assume some cache, somewhere, is keeping some persistent game file on and as soon as it opens, the game tries to load several resolutions at the same time (or something stupid like that, I guess ?).
I've searched on reddit and I'm not the only one with this issue, but haven't yet found a fix anywhere that helps. As this game is awesome, I'd love to be able to play it, so if anyone has an idea, please, feel free to share.
Ok, so I (maybe) fixed it, at least for now. Not sure what did it, but in the end I reinstalled my drivers, updated windows, rebooted properly (not a hard "press the power button" reboot like I had to when the PC was sluggish), and also passed the game to full screen before doing all that (which with a slow game took a good 3 minutes).
Now it works, at least for the one session I did so far since, but I can't be sure that'll stick as all my first play sessions were fine too before these steps, so maybe sluggishness will build up again over time ?
Anyway, hope it helps either dev, players, or both.

Not even sure why Jessica is a Li, she treats MC like a hired hand and gets all bent out of shape if you date Skylar. But choosing Jessica's route has so far been pointless. Personally if I were the MC I would put a ball gag in that b******s mouth as soon as she opens it. Toxic AF
Strongly worded but I do essentially agree with you. Jessica or Skylar really isn't a choice. I always go with Skylar.

It is so much more interesting when you can make the MC a woman and all the plot and render settings can stay the same!

December 29, 2025. I just finished chapter 8. It's an excellent story; it really draws you in. The plot is so captivating that it's impossible not to grow fond of the other characters. Two things I hope the developers consider for the future: 1. Having the option to choose only one path with respect to all the ILs. 2. That Jenny is alive in 2019. She's a very endearing character, at least to me. Haha, it's the first time I've ever asked for anything in all the VNL games I've played.
