Ripples is a sci-fi visual novel that centers around a guy named Jack. He reunites with his good friend Darci and sets off to school like any other day, but as the day goes on, he learns new information about his deceased father that has him questioning the truth about his death. Reminder: This visual novel is still in development, and there is still much more story to come, and what I consider the best parts. So I know Ep. 9 came over just recently but I really wish Every time you have sex with Any female character, there is Always the option to pull out or bust inside. Im talking about the ending of the party in Ep. 8, where youre at the hotel and hooking up with (I dont remember her name) and you have to pull out. You dont even get a choice. that and I hope there's a way to save her from disappearing.

I think Itch counts any activity or change to a page as an update, regardless of whether any new version was released. Seen that a bunch of times. So I think the game version is unchanged

So, first the good news. Just finished playing, and the story and (most) characters are still good and enjoyable, for the most part. Some minor things I dislike, but it's more stuff I personally just don't like rather than bad writing. I do recommend this to anyone unsure if they want to play or not. The story is good, there's some nice emotional moments, the girls are varied and meet a variety of tastes, so there's going to be someone you like.
And the neutral news is there's an error in the bowling scene where Scarlett and Val are with you, and you have to skip over it.

Now the bad news. After replaying it, and trying an alternate route with different choices, I've really started to notice how linear it is. This isn't a game if you're looking for alternate events and meaningful choices that will affect the story. It makes sense, since the time travel plot means the player can't really do anything since the outcomes of a possible choice are already made earlier in the story. So just pick what you like, the only difference you make is 'get sex scene' or 'skip sex scene'. Maybe it's just that you forgot certain choices, like I skipped interacting with Tiffany and Val in their yoga sessions, and yet I end up doing yoga with Tiffany anyway. Or another one that sticks out is that I shut down the Krystal route right at the beginning, but even though she doesn't offer to cosplay for me, I still get the same screen saying she's gone off to get changed. And I know this is purely subjective, but I utterly HATE Riley. I hate her character, her appearence, and I'd be very happy if she died and wasn't in the story any more. Her scenes are a boring slog to sit through.
Completely subjective, but how does one hate the most interesting and unpredictable of all the girls? To the point where you hope she dies? The woman who goes on 28 different tangents about prison r--ping thin mints, stabs people in the neck with needles, and is the only one thus far who has a clue what's going on? But Android user here, everything was fine until the end of episode 8. Now the animations aren't fluid anymore, even like 10fps sometimes and i'm so sad about it. I already have reinstalled the game.
Have you guys any ideas ?

fantastic animations in chapter 9 ! in particular (i just started watching it) the machine (with the blue circles, no spoilers) and the scene afterwards where the camera moves, thats more like a movie than just rendered frames, very nice

It's Lizzie. Young Riley is the mom. That's my guess. She looks just like her and she's the only LI you can't romance in any way (bc she's a lesbian--convenient!)
i would definitely say Lizzie as well. BUT, I think Vanessa might be the mom instead. Similar looks, tattoos one arms. Timeline would fit. She said she would be turning 21 soon after all
This is my convoluted head-canon, but there's a reason Skylar went out of town randomly and came back with sleeves that look just like Lizzie's, acting cryptically toward the MC. Which led me to believe that that Lizzie was sent there rather than being from a "different school" to watch the MC, and that she knows something about the power plant "machine".
** RECENT UPDATE SPOILERS**
This was confirmed to me by the last two people you see in the final scene of the most recent. Sky recognizes you (which tells me she got involved w/time travel since it's 20 yrs in the future and she's not old), and Lizzie doesn't (which tells me this is a different version of the girl who sat next to you in the one class and seemed to admire you). So I think she's a plant, put there by one of the powers that be--OR she's actually a 19 yr old Riley sent to watch him, bc why not? It's time travel in an AVN lol

Hmm I’ve always wondered why governments destroy old currencies even if the bills were still usable. Do they already have time travel or just being cautious incase someone develops it. Here’s another thought if you travel on a waning Moon with the opposite sex will the Trickster God interfere and switch your bodies. Chuckles it could be going or coming back. How to play on android? I have tried the mediafire download and it is saying there are missing pngs and on the title screen words are all over the place. What is the reccomended download option?
You have to extract the folder, run it, accept storage access, close it, copy archive.rpa to the installation “game” folder which should be “Documents/RenPy_saves/game” and then you should be good

Click on your phone in the game, then the music button. At the bottom of the music screen the track that's currently playing will be there, click on that, then the download button. It opens up a link to a MEGA folder with all of the game's music in it.

The Jessica route is bugged somehow, the jessicaRisk does not flag correctly. I turned down Skylar and have done everything according to the guides, but when I got to the part where you rub lotion, it doesn't trigger. I had to go to console and trigger the jessicaRisk variable myself. I don't really understand why this variable even exists, skylarRisk does I assume the same thing, and was set to False correctly.
I'm on android and I've run into an issue where the new content looks like this. Not sure what the issue is. I thought maybe the download messed up so I tried downloading again but the same issue

I followed the install directions to the letter and still couldn't get anything to show up.
During the party at the aunt's house (the one with truth or dare, no names or spoilers), there's a movie sequence with the girls dancing and a little cinematic Skip button down in the corner. What is the song playing during that sequence? It's a JAM.
During game-play, if you click on the MC's Smart Phone in the upper right corner, then click the "Music" Icon, it will load the "Hamster Player" Music App. From there it will show a list of ALL the songs in the game and along the bottom it will show the one that is currently playing.
Edit: Clarification & Typos.
That thought occurred to me, but there's no indicator on the song list which song is played where - just a plain alphabetical listing. This wouldn't be a problem... but the phone isn't accessible during the cutscene in question, which means there's no way of checking the Now Playing status. Hence asking if anyone knows which song it is, in hopes I won't simply have to guess based on the lyrics and go through that encyclopedic list. Thank you, though.
EDIT: found it. "Shake it Down" - an AI generated track by the dev. Ah, well.

great game with an excellent story but scenes are kinda me and the scenes you cant skip are super annoying and way too long i dont care about a camera flying across the area for 30sec veeeery slow, it also felt like some chapters are long others felt kinda short so kinda uhh "inconsistent"? but the story is genuinely insane i love it
Always bittersweet playing through the latest update then realising its waiting for many months until the next episode. The updates are amazing quality though so it's well worth the wait. Unrelated but I feel this story would make for a fantastic TV series even without most of the adult stuff.

OMG. i have waited so so long and it was worth it. Now im gonna go back and start with the beginning and play fully till 9 but J my dude, you made this update worth the wait! Soundtrack is awesome and loved the storyline's flow. Cant wait to see what you do for 10!!!
How to download the episode 9? Can someone help me
Just click on one of the purple 'download' buttons above and follow the instructions from there. Naturally for your device of choice. If you want to know the difference between Mega/Mediafire/Gofile: it's just personal but for large downloads as this I don't choose Mega anymore cause it wants you to make an account an download a Mega-file first. Mediafire is slow, but in my opinion reliable. Gofile don't really know the pro's and con's.
