Yes, the scenes have been toned down to make character-building and character progress feel more natural and flow better. Scenes later in the story will make up for them.
yeah, game just doesnt have the same exciting and fast-moving / thrilling vibe it used to. the girls characters have completely changed for it. must be time to update my review. fuck, this game used to be amazing, now it has the same feel every other avn has - slow and metered.. drawn out.. feels like i have to go collect 50 mushrooms or kill 50 rats before i can get to the next level.
Very detailed story and environment, several plot twists placed nicely throughout the story to keep things from becoming stale. The main character reminds me of a few people I know overthinking and agonizing over all the wrong things and missing obvious social queues.
Cons:
The story is amazing however, the episode splits make the story a bit disjointed and shatter the immersion. The game is also huge for mobile devices. The story is engrossing but pretty linear, few more side choices would help alleviate this, odd jobs to up affection etc.
Love the work so far, hope to see more in the future.
probably the game is still running on integrated graphics by-default, you might want to manually set the game to use your GPU through the Nvidia Control panel
if ppl can run it on a device designed for calling your momma at xmas time (a phone), im sure you can run it on a device actually intended for playing computer games which is only 4 years old.. the issue lies with your system, not the game.

Yes, it's an OIALT cameo. If you've noticed, Caribdis is a patron of Jestur. You can see that at the end of the game when all the patrons are listed (or at least the major ones), Caribdis' name is there. Suggestion to dev: the Android APK is well over 2GB and doesn't install on many systems. JoiPlay is an option, but any chance the Android install is still going to be supported (more compression maybe) going forward?

Absolutely stellar of a game with amazing characters in it. All the renders are so pristine, and crystal clear. I adore the settings, and the scenes in the game too. They're very creative, and they lead off from your more typical scenes you find in the same type of setting.
I'm a sucker for affection, and the slow sensual grind in some of the scenes hit a particular weak spot of mine in a great way. All in all I'll be very excited to keep following up on this, and I hope the amazement of this game gets to spread to many others! ^_^

The visual novel is a lot better in my opinion. I read that first and it's one of the visual novels that inspired me to make my own. The anime is alright but the visual novel is so much more impactful because it's a lot more in dept and longer. I suggest you check it out if you haven't.

They will be replaced with a much much better scene in the next couple of episodes. One that is more rewarding and more impactful and one much longer. If Skylar is your best girl, the scene I have planned will be for favorite scene in the game.

Well I really like the remaster of Chapter 1. It looks a lot better, the story flows smoother, and things don't feel as rushed. I have to be honest though, I was kind of hoping of a bit of a continuation of the story for the most part. Looks like we'll just have to wait a bit longer. Good job on the remake of Chapter 1 though. Plus, really like the new phone feature!
Sorry, I know most people were but I needed to do this sooner than later. There is a lot of under-the-hood coding stuff that needed to be done that builds a foundation for the rest of the game.
The next update will be episode 5 with all new content.
Ripple is made with Honely Select, but I recently started trying to make Daz renders just for the hell of it. Something is cleanse my creative palette. You can check out the Daz renders I made in my discord server in the art channel.
The changes for some of the scenes in the remaster are a really good choice in my opinion. The scenes feel more natural and realistic whereas before it felt like it your typical porn dialogue/acting type of scene.

Parse error most likely means your download is corrupted. Try redownloading and install the app again, also making sure you are installing the app fresh.
Yeh try downloading again with a different browser, and you have to uninstall the original version first, or it will come up with errors, i found this out, unfortunately before i read that Jestur had already said this in the update notes haha! My bad!
-Delete the old Ripples app and deleting all data/cache may also be required. -You are required to do a fresh install and to start a new game for the remaster. Don't transfer and use old save! -Make sure you have a least 10GB of free space and have allowed unknown sources enabled.
I dont think so, its just for this one as it changes the beginning, however Jestur did say i believe that when the next chapter comes out that it should work with the old game and also the new one.

Im struggling to install the APK file, every time i try to install it just says that the install failed as the file is invalid? Anyone else get this problem? Please help!
UPDATE: ok so I got it to work, I made a backup of my saves file in com.jestur.ripples and then uninstall the original installation, then when I tried to install the new 0.4.6 apk, it worked, and I have the game running fine! So it appears it's just an issue with the upgrade part of it, I hope this helps anyone else trying to install on Android.

what made you decide to alter some of the storyline? Like with what Krystal shows in the classroom, before she fully exposed herself, but now it was just a flash of underwear. Was it for more life like interactions?
If so, I totally understand that, I like what you have done, I think with a game like this with such an amazing storyline, adding in some more real to life situations definitely can only enhance the gameplay, I can't wait to see what you do with the next chapter, I'm so into this game, I had to donate, it just felt right.

For some reason the android file stages but won't install. I tried with other avn's and they installed just fine. any fix you can think of?

If I wipe my computer will my saves be deleted? I will copy the program file but it does seem like its saves are saved at a different place

You could have way more downloads if you make this game available via Drive. I can't get it on MEGA at all.
