This is such a a fantastic game. However the thumbnail for it in Itch doesn't nearly do it justice. As much as I hate to pull you from development, I would really revisit this. I passed up this game many times because it has looked so bland. You deserve to be one of the top AVN downloads and I think this will help you get the recognition you deserve.
I'm not 94dgrif, but since I skipped Ripples multiple times for the same reason (before I ran out of more-interesting-looking VNs and actually gave it a chance and realized how good it actually is), I thought I'd add my 2 cents and people can upvote/downvote me depending on whether they agree or not.
In my personal opinion, the generic bright blue-pinkish background fails to convey that that the main plot is actually rather deep and dark, and two girls touching each other may also give the (wrong) impression that this is at least to a degree a yuri VN or something, which some people have some adversity towards.
Not saying you should outright copy its style, but: in terms of 'vibe', something in the approximate direction of the Eternum thumbnail would represent this VN better, I think. Something a bit darker. Maybe give more emphasis on the 'ripples' effect, too, make it a little more distorted or something, to give a slightly better hint that this isn't just a fluffy slice-of-life story. The current thumbnail simply makes one think this would be a much shallower work than it actually is. Maybe make 2 or 3 new thumb concepts and put them up on your discord or patreon to vote on (and include 'keep current thumbnail' as vote option just in case, but as long as you manage to come up with something cool, I'm pretty sure the old thumbnail will lose the vote).
Oh, and you should absolutely insert the keyword 'harem' in the tagline, too. Like "Story-focused adult harem sci-fi game". People might fail to realize it's a harem VN unless they actually go to this page, which they may not even bother to do without any indicator of this from the tagline.
yes I agree with OnionCuttingNinja a lot. The game I much more of an Eternium vibe, and of that quality. At a basic level, pretty much any of your gallery images within the game progression would be a better thumbnail - they're dynamic, interesting, sexy and not at all generic.
possibly something with a split screen of one of the adult females from present with modern things in the background and on the other side of the split screen the same girl in the past but make it obvious its the same girl and then the ripple effect getting stronger towards the edge of the thumbnail. Don't know if that's what you are looking for but it might be cool that way.

i watched someone play this and just downloaded it myself how come some of the scenes on the first ep have been changed? and ep 2 with skylar? guessing more has changed?
One of, if not the best games I've ever played. It's right up there with amity park and Vel's series + spinoffs. Beautiful game with great characters and an interesting story that I cannot recommend enough! The time travel aspect adds tons of complexity to the plot, and it's really cool. Thank you so much for this wonderful game! Also, Jestur, I hope you get better soon, sinus surgery sounds rough :(

If you played the last update (4.5 or 4.6) then you're good. The only people that need to restart are the people that haven't played the remaster/rework, which had a lot of code changes in the game.

I think this game is a gem and i am very excited to see how the story progresses. I am usually no a big fan of time travel stories but, i think that if the narrative doesn't take it self too seriously it can be a very interesting plot device.
I really like the the way the story is going so far. My only 2 complaints about the game so far are:
First, I think the dialogue on the beggining of act one is a little awkward. Everyone kinda sounds like they're robots trying to imitate humans. And second, the game has some perfomance issues. It seems that it doesn't handle 3D graphics very well. Some of the 3D scenes were playing at under 10 fps for me.
This game was great, I loved the story. I do have to ask, do you plan on making an episode 5 or even a sequel? From when the latest dev blog was I doubt it a bit, but I don’t know how long it takes to make stuff like this so yeah.

i'm just confused. past updates are on Episode 3, but the latest update is an episode 1 remastered? so..... if i update this, is it only episode 1 in generally speaking? what would happened to episode 2 and 3?
Hey I'm new to the game and I just wanted to say that this is one hell of a masterpiece in the making. The art is absolutely amazing and the story is fresh, The characters have real depth and it makes you want to see more. Disappointed in myself for not trying it out earlier.
Also Is it just me or does this game have cameos that only happen once in a lifetime
