So so so many layers. I'm loving the approach to time travel and it being a fixed timeline where no matter what the outcome is determined, but mc has the power to make seemingly insignificant changes which could perhaps snowball into actually changing the timeline completely.
THIS games is seriously not on steam yet? WTF? seiously, it may not be finished yet, but look at how many games are in beta or demos that are complete trash compared to this game! and in no way am i saying hurry up and finish. Steam can bring its own bunch of issues for adult games, with strange censorship and non-compete clauses forbidding different versions on other platforms like Itch.
Last example I remember is that a creator was forced to turn a (non-romancable) minor character into an adult or remove her completely. Not what you want for a perfect masterpiece.
This is a cool game didn't think I'd enjoy reading it as much as I did. I do hope Jenny's story can turn out good since she is one of my favorite characters.
1) download the game to an iphone? no, however you can technically play the game on your phone if you use the steampowered feature: steam link to stream the game to your phone by having that game as a non steam game in your library. only downside i had was the back up feature not available. Might be able to get back up to work with a blue tooth mouse w/ touch assist enabled.
Hey, my friend, this is a nice visual novel. However, I cannot stop making the comparison with the Netflix series ''Dark''. Is it the same plot isn't it, or at least it has many similarities? hahaha
This game is masterly crafted, aside from the part of me that got this game because the characters are hot, there is actual depth to the storyline. Probably the most developed character (and my favorite) is Skylar, she is the only person (so far) that actually seems to love the MC, whereas everybody else is just kinda fine with whatever. I LOVE this game and will definitely make some donations towards the development of the game in the future, when my broke ass can afford it.
Even though I haven't played the game (will have to change that in the coming days) please take time for yourself and have a speedy recovery but I'll let you know of any bugs/errors throughout!
For anyone trashing this game because you can't get your way all the time, that's what multiple playthroughs are for. My first playthrough I'm trying to bang all the girls I can, which leads me to my question. Can you bang Shelby? If so what should I do; tell her off or ignore her? Seems like telling her off sparked something in her yet at the same time I made her cry... Second playthrough I'm going for Skylar only, something about her I can't quite put my finger "in" lol but I fucking love her!
I don't know much about adding another language to Ripples but I have dev friends that know how. Come to my discord and we'll talk about it. I might be interested in adding it to the official game.
I myself know how to do most of the work, except for changing the names in the main menu. I'm wondering if you need a translation and which one you're more interested in. In Russian or Ukrainian? I can do both, but it's a matter of time. And now I'm ready to get to work. All premature preparations and tests are over.
Tired of these games that give you unknowable, arbitrary choices that lock out half the content. It sucks being forced to use a wiki instead of just enjoying the story to know what to do and/or being forced to start over and spam click for an hour to get back to where you were. I'm fairly new to visual novels but I think whoever thought these unclear branching paths that only lock out content (not lead to DIFFERENT CONTENT) is a moron. ^ [EDIT: After interacting with others in posts below I regret the phrasing of this last sentence. Especially calling people who like this type of storytelling "morons". I'm actually glad a wide verity of games and game-play styles exist.]
And from what I'm seeing the walkthough i just opened, falling behind once forces you to lose out on even more relationship "+'s" in the locked scenes leading me to wonder why I'm bothering at all.
I'm perfectly fine getting negative responses to this comment. The game has a full 5 stars, after all. Completely random dialogue dead-ends seem to be a popular trope/gamely style a lot of people like. That's cool. Glad people are finding the things they enjoy. However, there is a comment section and have no problem using it to express my frustration with unknowable/unpredictable consequences. Especially when I'm vested in the story.
That is correct, after all if we all liked the same things then this game would be full of tentacles and an incredibly young man with a exceptionally large member. Enjoy the comments and the game.
Ghryst, you don't seem to understand my opinion, so I'll try and elaborate.
Random ripples leading to unpredictable outcomes is fine- IMO Random ripples only leading to dead ends is not fine- IMO
Early and seemingly innocuous choices I could have no knowledge of picking correctly only snowballing into locking out massive sections of content and characters feels unfair and frustrating to me. Not giving any feedback takes that sense of control from the player. Especially when you don't know anything about plot or personalities at the beginning. Choices are entirely random.
A "good" example of this is the VN Halfway House. The premise intrigued me and I liked the art style/3d models. A smaller scope felt refreshing and the story felt mature for a change. You know, not targeted at children as a lot of these are. Then about halfway into Halfway House, I realize that I'm missing a ton of content from the MILF who runs the place. Looking at a walk through; insteadof the young man just getting out of prison for aggressiveness approaching the counselor/caretaker with respect and building into something more, you are intended to molest her from the very first choice. If you don't, it's a perpetual losing game for one-third of the characters, and the only way to get out of it is to start over from the very beginning.
Again, people can like blind mazes that lead to dead ends. People can like playing through the same content over and over and clicking random options until they happen to get the correct combination. People can like alt+tabbing to check a walk through instead of the game itself giving some type of feedback/knowledge to inform your choices. Fantastic.
That being said. My personal opinion about what I enjoy cannot be wrong. If you think an opinion can be wrong, your existence is probably harming humanity as a whole.
its almost as if you're upset because you arent able to see how dead ends are a type of unpredictable outcome. its kinda like you've been raised with participation trophies even though you lose. and it reminds me of someone who isnt capable of making an accurate prediction. probably just mine and just about everyone elses wild imagination though, right? couldnt possibly be a "you" problem, right? you're so special <3 the center of the universe and you can be anything you want and all that bullshit right? why not just manifest a new non-deadend ripple with the power of positive thought?
ps: "If you think an opinion can be wrong, your existence is probably harming humanity as a whole." my existence is based on reality, where opinions can absolutely be objectively, verifiably, falsifiable wrong. your opinion that 1+1=3, is WRONG. #ScienceBitches
If you didn't enjoy it, then stop playing the game, mate.
Don't rant to people that don't care just because you found the system of choices relating to various relationships unacceptable.
If you haven't already noticed, the choices of a dating sim like this one are based on decisions IRL, whereby the most 'innocuous' choice, as you've put it, can lead to the most drastic changes.
If you find that you've missed out on a path with one of the characters, guess what? THERE'S A SAVE MENU! Go back and make the alternative decision in order to achieve the outcome you wanted. There's even a SKIP button there so that you can fast forward through the conversations you've already read through.
Innovative, isn't it??
The Author took their time to carefully craft this game and plot. In essence, the time you're meant to spend playing it includes the screw-ups you'll definitely encounter along the way. Hence, the reason why you can go back and replay saves.
Don't bitch about something utterly petty that can be easily rectified by YOU, THE PLAYER. Have you ever considered the possibility that you're just garbage at playing AVN's? Might wanna invest your time in getting better at them before you start barking.
1: I have up-votes, so people agree with me/care. 2: If you think everything should be 100% free from criticism, you are delusional/in for a surprise during your stay here on Earth. 3: There is no way to "get gud" when there is no information about far-reaching, early choices other than opening a walk through or reloading then spam clicking to get back to where you were in the story. That is a gameplay choice by the developer.
Not all VNs are like this and that's fine. Everyone is different and likes different things. Nothing you could ever say would convince me to enjoy "blind" systems some of these titles have. I liked the story, so I expressed my frustration.
I never once said that the game should be "free of criticism". I said that you're overreacting over something that can be easily fixed by simply replaying the game you keep complaining about.
And as for your third point you still don't seem to get the picture. I see now that you are a person that cannot understand plain reasoning if it punched you in the face. The reason you don't get this plethora of info about certain decisions is due to the fact that these choices are a direct portrayal of ACTUAL LIFE. You call me delusional, yet you expect a game that uses realism to spoon feed you fifty pros and cons about a singular moment before you make a decision? Are you mental? The game makes you think on your feet, plan out your choices like a chess player for later moves. That's literally the essence of the game since it's about bloody TIME TRAVEL! Of course you're going to make one or sixty wrong decisions during each chapter, that's the whole reason there's a reload system. If you find that to be a useless mechanic then you must be a lazy person naturally. Getting ruffled by the fact that the game dev doesn't want to hold you hand throughout the game? Come on, man. What AVN have you played that gives you X-ray vision into 100% percent of the choices you as the player are meant to make ON THEIR OWN?
You are right. Not all games are like this. But MOST games are like this. Once In A Lifetime, Deviant Anomalies, bloody Harem Hotel, and even My Bully Is My Lover, to name a short few.
My issue isn't that you are offering concrit, bruv. The issue is that you're pointing out a problem you have with the game that literally 90% of other games posses because they are AVN's.
Nevertheless, I won't bother with this any longer, you have my word. Can't believe we're having a debate over a game mechanic.
I know what you are trying to say. I really love the concept for the Persona games, but never play them because of how my personality handles time management and the FOMO I get.
Would be nice if there was an option to turn on some indicator of what a choice may result in for people. Just a hint so the players that want don't pick completely blind.
For multiple play throughs! Unlike life, in games it is possible to get the first run all 0's and just come back and make different choices. This is how these kinds of games that are not all about the H content can survive. Enjoy the play-throughs and skip the walk-throughs. It is much more fun discovering things on your own.
I agree that it is much more fun discovering things on your own. I disagree that multiple play throughs of the same content is fun.
For me to enjoy playing games like this, I need the developer to either give me UI or context clues so I can make informed choices. Not just random guesses.
Nah i didnt, i try everything i can but no luck. very unfortunate, i try to search the song at the game file but no luck either. Only dev now the song or some random guy who actually know everything. xD

damn I didn't know that about steam. Thanks for that clarification. I guess it doesn't surprise me though either.
This is a cool game didn't think I'd enjoy reading it as much as I did. I do hope Jenny's story can turn out good since she is one of my favorite characters.
two questions
1. Are you able to download this game on iPhone
2. Are you able to have sex with darci at any point in the game I would really like to know
1) download the game to an iphone? no, however you can technically play the game on your phone if you use the steampowered feature: steam link to stream the game to your phone by having that game as a non steam game in your library. only downside i had was the back up feature not available. 2) play and find out :)
Any updates on when the next episode is dropping?
Can someone recommend similar game
Once in a lifetime
Eternum
My Bully is my lover, mixed up with MBMR, also worth trying.
Life Changing Choices, Oppai Odyssey, Marked for Eternity, Twisted Fates, Fates Collide, Pale Carnations. Some are not similar, but are worth a try.
is it not possible to bang skyler yet?
you can tho, you probably on wrong choices
Nine ways to Sunday and back.
Hey, my friend, this is a nice visual novel. However, I cannot stop making the comparison with the Netflix series ''Dark''. Is it the same plot isn't it, or at least it has many similarities? hahaha
Even though I want to know the rest of the story, keep up the good work :)
If i download the newest version ´´Ripples EP4 v0.4.1 PC´´ do i get only the 4th episode or are the others incuded?
Included
Thank u very much!

nooooo! i want more lol this so much better than any adult game i've ever played before!
I actually like this, can't wait for more updates keep up the good work the storyline is really good, especially the cliffhanger of episode 4.
I'm seeing a lot of new comments here. I wonder how many are here from the Immersion Lord
From the Immersion Lord
Came from youtube but completed the story for the plot. 12/10
we follow the immersion lord and panda queen
No, just released slowly
I had surgery and took time off. I'm back working on it again and 70% with the next update.
Even though I haven't played the game (will have to change that in the coming days) please take time for yourself and have a speedy recovery but I'll let you know of any bugs/errors throughout!

Hello Jestur, I would like to know if I can translate your game into Russian or Ukrainian and if you need it?
I don't know much about adding another language to Ripples but I have dev friends that know how. Come to my discord and we'll talk about it. I might be interested in adding it to the official game.

Nothing happen when I try to download the walkthrough. I click on the download button and nothing happen.
Go to my discord and type !wt for another source of the walkthrough
I got an error while unpacking the zip not sure why it was with images I think

does anyone have issues trying to download? mega wouldn't let me and the google file in the patreon doesnt exist :( i was hoping to play episodes 1-4
Check it again. It should be on there. If not stop by the discord and I will try to help you further.
Anyone else see Judy in the cell phone store?!
Yes, I saw her and wanted to come and talk to her, but she didn't recognize me... :)

All Hail Jestur🙇🏽🙇🏽🙇🏽
Hey can anybody tell me what is the Music/Beat/drop that they use in episode 2 when we go to the lingerie shop. That beat/drop is sick. <3
Daaamn, Now i gotta go hear it. Always on the hunt for sick drops. Did you ever find out what it was?
Nah i didnt, i try everything i can but no luck. very unfortunate, i try to search the song at the game file but no luck either. Only dev now the song or some random guy who actually know everything. xD
Wow, that is unfortunate, I will still try on my end. I still havent had a chance to go back and listen. perhaps tomorrow after work
Ya you should that was pretty sick, ill be honest. If u ever find out what the drop/beat is let me know. <3
hi, i am the random guy that knows everything.
for instance, i know its in the credits list.
its called Arabic Big Bass, by WinnieTheMoog, and can be found here:

can someone share me the link for google drive it seem that mega didnt want me to download it. There is a Google link on my Patreon page
will do :)
One of the best NSFW Visual novels alongside OIAL and Eternum. The waiting for these amazing games are a torture, but the gameplay is great!!
idk about the game but i just cant sit through the torture of reading white text with extremely bright back ground. couldn't get past the beginning in the house..just way too straining for my eyes. the color of the text isnt a problem but the background is just way too bright and very light colors.
What part is that? All I get is white text on either black background or in a semi-transparent box with plenty of contrast. In fact, I just skipped until reaching [a certain spooky place] and didn't see a single background that's too bright for white text. Maybe share a screenshot?
The animations in this are some of the best I've ever seen, i need to see this series flourish!
I've been trying to download it for days to play. Could you put it on another server please? Tks ^^
Check my Patreon page
Or come to the discord server and talk to me if you continue to have trouble. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you for the support :)
Would it be possible to add a direct download or media fire? It won't let me download it from mega.
If nothing else, at least evil google cloud!!!
Check my Patreon page
The mega link doesn't work because I don't have a paid account and it says that the google drive link isn't real.
I'm really enjoying the story of this game and I'm very thrilled to see the Episode 5 update to come out. Keep up the good work!
I know you really don't like answering this question, but any chance we could get what season and year for Ep 5 release date? Ballpark.
Hi.. Any news on Ep5??
Absolutely amazing, can't wait for Episode 5.
A very good game! I enjoyed it very much.
When approximately will it be completed and put on sale?
Do you plan on making this downloadable through itch at any point? Mega always has issues, especially when getting into the territory of larger downloads.
Besides that I just wanted to let you know how awesome the game is. some of the best renders i've seen, along with an amazing story so far. Keep up the good work dev :)
I hope this game in the end or final version will have a multiple endings or route...
i don't hate Harem but, i just don't like it. ✌🏼
Any plans for the episode 5 launch date?
